Hello, Interweb

Introducing www.soulapefkaros.com!

I'm happy to  introduce www.soulapefkaros.com! Finally, I've been able to create a site where I can share my photography and writing in a simple, streamlined website. I'm still working on the design and format and welcome your feedback on how I can make this easier to use.

Subscribe

Subscribe to my blog! You will receive an email each time I publish a new blog post. Posts will feature small collections of photographs and writings. (My previous wordpress blog - sherunswithwolves - is no more. This is the place to subscribe.)

What You Can Expect

On the "Projects" page, I'll post documentary photography projects.

In "Galleries" you'll find a few collections of various types of work (i.e. portraitsfood and farms, etc.). I will continue building on this portfolio; a "places" section is forthcoming.

...And blog posts.

For rates and session booking (or just to say hello) please use the "Contact" page to submit your inquiry.

Come back soon for more photographic goodness!

PS: A Word on Squarespace

For those interested, I'm using Squarespace to build my site. I enjoy the intuitive interface and beautiful template designs. (I've used Wordpress and Blogger; Squarespace is definitely #1 in my book). Squarespace has excellent customer service; if the live chat is unavailable, you can submit a ticket and get a  response from an actual human within an hour. Pretty unbeatable service, in my opinion, and worth what you pay (between $8 and $24 per month depending on the plan you choose).  I've certainly had moments of frustrations - but I think that is to be expected anytime you are trying to make a machine do what you want it to do, or embarking on a creative adventure - and building a photography website involves both of these. Squarespace gets a glowing review from me.
